Rules of the Competition

After all, we don't want any surprises, do we? So buckle up and take a moment to familiarize yourself with the rules of the competition:

• This is only open to 16 - 19 years old Malaysian who are currently NOT enrolled in any universities, colleges, or tertiary education institutions.
• Participants under the age of 18 years old are required to ask their parents, guardians or teachers to submit their projects.
• To enter the competition you will need to create a game using GDevelop and also submit a presentation video on the project.
• All projects must be original and not copied or downloaded from other creators.
• Your project must be under any one of these themes:
  1. Based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
  2. Based on the current issues that the world is facing
  3. Educational games
• All submissions must be either in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
• You can only join this competition as an Individual. No teams are allowed.
• When submitting your project you need to include:
  1. The Google Drive link to the zip folder of your project.
  2. The YouTube link on the presentation of your project(≤ 3 minutes).
  3. Please make sure both the links are available for public view. Do be cautious and do not include any personal information in your project or video.
• Only the Top 10 Finalists will need to present their projects to our esteemed judges during the Final Competition. The finalists will be disqualified if they are unable to attend on the designated day.
• Past winners are welcome to participate; however, they must submit a completely new project with original ideas. Previous winning projects cannot be reused, modified, or revamped.

For Students

1. Grand Prize: Earn a full scholarship to pursue a 2-year Diploma program in Forward College valued at RM37,500*, and cash prize of RM500.

2. Second Prize: Earn a partial scholarship to pursue a 2-year Diploma program in Forward College valued at RM18,750*, and cash prize of RM300.

3. Third Prize: Earn a partial scholarship to pursue a 2-year Diploma program in Forward College valued at RM18,750*, and cash prize of RM200.

4. Fourth and Fifth Prize: cash prize of RM100.

* Terms and conditions apply. Winners must meet the college's admission criteria and complete the application process.
(Note: There is no obligation to accept the scholarship prize. Alternative arrangements can be discussed upon notification of your win.)

For School

Additionally, we have a special prize for the school with the highest number of participating students.

‍

1. RM1000 for use on STEM activities for their students or the purchase of technological items for the school.
2. The school representative will also be invited to the Final Competition to celebrate their achievement.
